Link Vault is a Chrome extension that allows users to save and organize web links with custom names. This Privacy Policy explains how Link Vault handles user data and outlines our commitment to your privacy.

Link Vault does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The extension does not have access to your browsing history, personal information, or any data outside of what you explicitly enter into the extension.

Data Storage

All data entered by the user (link names, URLs, and theme preferences) is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data:

•        Never leaves your device

•        Is not accessible by the developer or any third party

•        Is never synced to any server or cloud service

Third-Party Services

Link Vault does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, advertising, or data collection services of any kind.

Permissions

The extension uses only the following permission:

•        storage — Used solely to save your links and theme preference (dark/light mode) locally on your device.

Remote Code

Link Vault does not load or execute any remote code. All JavaScript and assets are fully bundled within the extension package and are not fetched from external sources.
